Rather pointless plot - but visually stunning. - The Matrix Reloaded Reviews

Like the prequal, the special effects were amazing and the stage sets were awesome. The cast executed their roles beautifully. The storyline, now, is just too surrealistic and far fetched. Bad guys reproducing themselves, others that can become apparitions and go anywhere, insignificant characters, Neo's pointless journey when he meets the "maker". If it weren't for the effects this movie would of bombed!
