The movie to be argued over... - The Matrix Reloaded Reviews
The matrix films are a work of pure intelligence, even if the intelligence realises it. The Wachowski brothers know that they have an amazing philosophical film here, and at times they abuse it. But it does draw so many arguments to the Revolutions conclusion that it can be called nothing short of brilliant. Keanu Reeves and the cast helm the film well, and are the only people I can see playing the roles. Hugo Weaving (for me) shines as my favorite part of both movies, and undoubtedly for the third. So many different aspects of the film are intriguing: The very important (semi-mythological) names of characters; the different ending possibilities; the philosophical deeper meanings; and finally the flat out amazing action and how it's all weaved so brilliantly. Small insignificant lines of dialogue may pan out to being the most important part of the third movie. It's brilliant, and amazing, and probably one of the best films of the year. Yes, some flaws are visible, but they're not enough to dull the amazing experience that is (and will be) The Matrix Trilogy.
