A strong continuation of the trilogy - The Matrix Reloaded Reviews

Often times, the second section of any trilogy is the weakest. The first one sets the story and introduces the plot/characters/amazing VFX/whatever, and the third one will sum things up, and is often the most exciting of the three. However, the second part is just... there. However, this generalization is very untrue for 'The Matrix Reloaded'. The visual effects in 'Reloaded' differ, but are still similar to the first Matrix. Bullet-time is taken to a whole new level, especially during the highway chase scene, when many cars and trucks are blown up and/or crash into each other. The burly brawl is a sight to see, with Neo fighting over 100 Smiths ((and kicking their asses)), which uses bullet-time, but it is just crazy. It is amazing to see what the VFX team working on all three Matrixes can do. The plot, while not moved along an extensive amount, leaves us with many questions, which were good for heated discussion between May 15th and 11.05. Now that we know why Neo was able to stop the sentinals, it is awesome to see the corelations between that and other things that happened in 'Reloaded'. Possibly the best of the three, 'The Matrix Reloaded' does great justice to the best trilogy ever.
